A general lecture and slideshow about Polish photography. The presentation consists of 20 Polish artists (historical & contemporary). During the second part of the lecture Krzysztof Candrowicz will talk about the photographic institutions, festivals and exhibitions in Poland.
Krzysztof Candrowicz is a founder and director of Lodz Art Center and Foundation of Visual Education in the city of Lodz in Poland. The foundation has started organization of the International Festival of Photography in 2001 and now is preparing the ninth edition in 2010. Every year during the festival he coordinate 50 exhibitions and a numerous workshops, lectures, slide-shows and movie presentation.
